UPDATE - Oct 2013
Left Bangalore by Non-Ac sleeper KPN(Rs.800). Boarded the bus from bommanahalli at 7.15pm and reached Tiruchendhur around 8am.
Asked the auto guys to take to Mani Iyer Hotel. They charged us Rs.50.
There are many hotels/lodges in the lane. Stayed at Hotel Cauvery.
Non-A/C double is Rs.600 and 3Bed A/C is Rs1300. The A/C room is good.
Food was not very good both at Mani Iyer and at Hotel Cauvery! This lane is on the other side of the nazhi kaenar.
Temple is abt 100mts from the hotel and hence is very convenient.
Returned by KPN Sleeper(Rs.900). Boarded the bus from the same place(Rs.50 by auto from the hotel) and left by 6.45pm. Reached Bangalore at 7.30am(silk board).

- Ramesh Iyer hotel tiffin is good; lunch was not great.
